Lundin Links is a picturesque seaside village in the East Neuk of Fife three
miles east of Leven.
amenities include a championship standard golf course (18 holes), a ladies
golf course (9 holes) (with historic ‘standing stanes’), two hotels (The Old
Manor and the Lundin Links Hotel) Lundin Sports Club and Lundin Links
Bowling Club. Lundin Links is a popular destination for tourists as a centre
for golfing holidays, golfing on the many golf courses in Fife including
courses at Charlton, Elie and St Andrews.
There was formerly a railway station at the main Golf Course.
Keilsden Wood which lies to the North of the village was frequented by
Alexander Selkirk (‘ Robinson Crusoe’).
There are two caravan parks to the North of Lundin Links:-
1. Largo House Caravan Park (residential Caravans)
2. Woodland Caravan Park (towing caravans)
Lundin Mill Primary School with a roll of approximately 130 pupils is
located within the village and also serves the surrounding community.
village is well served with local shops including, bakers, butchers, post
office, hairdressers and a bank.
Old Manor Hotel has fine views of the sea and golf course whilst
Hotel is a striking mock tudor building in the centre of the village,
but now closed and waiting to be converted into retirement flats.
village is served by 3 bus services namely, X27, X60 and 95 connecting
Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews.
